Danila Dilba Health Service (DDHS) is a leading Aboriginal community‑controlled organisation providing culturally safe, comprehensive primary health care across the Greater Darwin region.
We're seeking an experienced and passionate General Practitioner to join our team for Saturday clinics (8:00am–1:00pm). This role is ideal for an independent, motivated practitioner who values teamwork, cultural safety and delivering high‑quality care. Click here to learn more about DDHS.
About the role:
You'll provide culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care to clients attending Saturday clinics. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to the delivery of best‑practice services that reflect DDHS's commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

You are a confident and compassionate GP who is committed to equity in healthcare and thrives in a collaborative, cross‑cultural environment.
What you need to apply?
* Current registration as a General Practitioner with AHPRA
* Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* High standard of written and computer literacy
* Experience in Indigenous or Northern Territory primary health care
* Supervisory experience with GP registrars
* Familiarity with Communicare
* Knowledge of Medicare and Practice Incentive Programs
* Understanding of Aboriginal Health Worker career structures
