Transport Contracts Administration Manager

As our Transport Contracts Administration Manager, you will play a key role in managing the full lifecycle of commercial agreements across our transport operations. From onboarding delivery service providers to ensuring ongoing compliance and maintaining contract records, you will help ensure our network runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with industry regulations.
This role sits at the heart of our operations, working closely with internal teams and delivery service providers to maintain strong partnerships, ensure contractual compliance, and keep our documentation accurate and organised.

What You'll Be Doing
Contract Lifecycle Management
You will manage and administer delivery service provider contracts throughout their entire lifecycle — from onboarding and documentation through to updates, renewals, and amendments. Ensuring contracts are well maintained, clearly documented, and aligned with business requirements will be a key part of your role.
Subcontractor & Vendor Relationship Management
You'll work closely with our delivery service providers and subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships. This includes monitoring performance against contractual obligations, assisting with issue resolution, and ensuring clear communication between all parties.
Compliance & Risk Management
Compliance is critical in the transport industry. You will help ensure all contracts and operational activities align with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation, safety requirements, and relevant industry regulations. Your role will help minimise risk and support safe and compliant operations.
Contract Documentation & Systems Management
Organisation is key. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date contract registers, documentation, and records. You'll also help manage contract data using systems you want/need to implement a contract management platform, ensuring information is easily accessible and properly maintained.
Skills & Experience We're Looking For
* 2–5+ years' experience in contract administration, commercial support, or a similar administrative role
* Experience within transport, logistics, or supply chain operations will be highly regarded
* Strong understanding of contract management principles and commercial risk awareness
* High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management systems
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and administrative processes in a fast-moving environment
