An excellent chance has become available for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a well-regarded Employment & Industrial team within a respected law firm.
Supporting a director and wider team, this role will suit a proactive and organised Legal Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Diary and travel coordination
* Drafting legal correspondence and documents from dictation and precedents
* Preparation of briefs to Counsel and experts
* Electronic and physical file management
* Preparation of Affidavits, Statements and electronic briefs
* Billing, costs agreements and file archiving
* Liaising with clients and external parties throughout matters
* Assisting the wider administrative team as required
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally within employment, litigation or commercial law
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
* Confidence working autonomously and within a team environment
* Experience with Practice Evolve or similar legal practice management systems will be highly regarded
