Overview
This is a chance to step into a high-performing procurement team. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you'll lead category strategies across the Directs portfolio, managing supplier performance, reducing costs, and driving innovation through the supply base. It's a strategic role, focused on planning, risk mitigation, and commercial outcomes. You'll partner with stakeholders across the business and be central to product development and supply continuity.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies to ensure competitive costs and reliable supply;
* Lead supplier negotiations and contract management, with a focus on risk reduction and long-term partnerships;
* Actively manage supplier performance to meet business KPIs; and
* Deliver commercial outcomes through cost savings, process efficiency, and supply chain resilience.
Qualifications
* Degree-qualified (Business, Engineering, Science, or related);
* 3–5 years in procurement, ideally with exposure to chemicals or manufacturing;
* Strong experience sourcing packaging or direct materials;
* Commercially sharp with proven contract negotiation skills;
* Ability to manage complex stakeholders and influence outcomes across a business; and
* SAP ERP exposure a bonus.
