We are seeking motivated and outcome-driven Senior Employment Coach and Employment Coach to deliver high-quality services under the Workforce Australia program.
SYC provides personalised case management, connecting participants with a range of employers and industries, and offering access to opportunities that match their skills and aspirations. SYC delivers employment services at over 50 locations throughout Australia.
* As a Senior Employment Coach you will manage your caseload, provide mentoring and support to coaches, assist with the team KPIs, compliance, audits and continues improvement, and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.
* As an Employment Coach, actively engage with participants to overcome career challenges, develop essential skills, and achieve their employment goals. You will provide one-to-one coaching to participants to improve job readiness, engage with employers and achieve employment outcomes in a KPI driven environment.
About You
As someone who enjoys working autonomously within a broader team, you will be enthusiastic, empathetic, and committed to making a difference in people's lives.
For the Senior Employment Coach role, you will bring strong experience and leadership capability. You will demonstrate:
* Leadership or mentoring experience
* Knowledge and/or understanding of Government Employment Services
* Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong interpersonal, conflictresolution and negotiation skills, with the initiative to identify innovative, lateral solutions
* Confidence supporting a result driven team
* Ability to lead by example and influence positive results
As an Employment Coach, you will bring:
* Experience in customer service, client facing or an administrative role
* Ability to work in a KPI driven environment
* Excellent communication, organisation, administration and time management skills
* A values-driven, participant -cantered approach
Key screening and requirements:
* Must be willing to complete relevant employment screening and to maintain requisite clearances or checks as required.
* Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Mental Health Peer Work, Youth Work, Disability or related qualification, or willing to complete a qualification on the job is required.
* Be eligible to work in Australia.
