Job Description
* Drafting, reviewing, and updating wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
* Providing legal advice to clients on matters related to estate administration and distribution.
* Handling probate applications and navigating the probate process.
* Advising clients on strategies for minimising estate taxes and ensuring efficient wealth transfer.
* Resolving disputes and litigation related to wills and estates, when necessary.
* Collaborating with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans.
* Staying informed about changes in legislation and case law affecting Wills & Estates in the ACT and NSW.
The Successful Applicant
* Minimum 2+ years experience in PQE in Wills and Estates.
* Implement a high level of attention to detail with clients and pride yourself on the quality of service.
* Strong inter-personal skills
* Excellent ability to draft legal documents and correspondents in clear and concise language
* Able to take direction from senior managers and lawyers
* Be an experienced litigator looking to take your career to the next level
* Who is comfortable presenting in court and eager to grow their skills as an advocate
