Carey Baptist College Forrestdale, a private coeducational Christian school with open enrollment, is seeking a passionate and skilled Secondary Materials Design and Technology Teacher to join our dedicated team in 2026.
This position is ideal for an educator or industry professional who is enthusiastic about working with materials, particularly metalwork, and who enjoys inspiring creativity, problem solving, and innovation in students. A passion for Digital Technologies, engineering, and robotics is highly desirable, as these areas form an exciting and growing part of our learning programs.

The successful candidate will:
* Deliver engaging, hands on lessons in Materials Design and Technology, with a focus on metalwork
* Deliver engaging, digital technologies, robotics, and engineering, with scope to make these their own
* Provide constructive feedback to support student growth
* Actively contribute to the collaborative and innovative culture of our school
* Experience with programs such as AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) and Visible Learning will be highly regarded, as will the ability to connect classroom learning with real world applications that inspire students to see the relevance of design, technology, and engineering in everyday life.
