About RMH & The Team
The Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Services is a collaborative and supportive work environment committed to providing evidence-based treatments to consumer and carers with serious mental illness. We are located in the midst of the Puckle Street precinct surrounded by cafes, parks and public transport (trams, trains and buses).
Your New Role
* Deliver evidence-based care to consumers with complex mental health needs while maintaining an active caseload
* Provide senior clinical leadership and support the Team Leader, Program Manager and clinicians to drive high-quality service delivery
* Contribute expert diagnostic assessment, formulation, treatment planning and clinical advice
* Lead and participate in discipline-specific and multidisciplinary activities and meetings
* Provide and participate in clinical supervision, supporting workforce development
* Support day-to-day team operations, including workload management and clinical decision-making
About You
You are an experienced senior clinician who thrives in both leadership and hands-on clinical practice.
You Will Have
* Qualification as an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist (with clinical endorsement) or Social Worker
* Minimum 5–7 years' experience working with people experiencing severe and enduring mental illness
* Demonstrated knowledge and application of evidence-based interventions across complex presentations
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
* Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills, with confidence using clinical information systems and IT platforms
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence and ability to travel as required for community-based work
