Sushi Sushi, Australia's largest sushi brand,is going through an exciting evolution of growth, and as such our Design and Construction team is looking for an Interior Designer with Design and Project Delivery experience.
This is a great opportunity for a vibrant and forward-thinking Interior Designer/Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Sushi Sushi support office and showcase their artistic flair
We are on the hunt to find a professional with a minimum of 2 years prior experience in retail design, with a proven track record of delivering projects from brief to concept and final design.
Responsibilities:
* Bring high-end design solutions for retail stores from space-planning, concept design through to completion on site
* Ability to work collaboratively across multiple projects at various stages
* Eye for design and detailing, with a strong understanding of construction documentation
* Selecting material and furniture to aligned with designs and involvement in negotiating with suppliers
* Establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Liaising with Retail Design Managers and building contractors
* Working as a team, to help make our projects even more amazing
Requirements:
* At least a diploma level qualification or, 2 more years' experience with an interior design role, ideally within commercial construction industry or food retail sector
* Proficient skills using Autocad, Revit and Adobe Suite Photoshop, SketchUp & adhering to regulations and compliance
* Excellent visual and verbal communication skills to communicate design concepts
