* Roster: 6:30am to approximately 4:00pm - 5:00pm
* Duration: 4-6 weeks
About The Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Operator / Labourer to support short-term project works across an active construction site. This role will suit candidates with hands-on civil construction experience who are comfortable operating plant and assisting with general labouring duties as required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to working safely in a team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate skid steer and/or excavator machinery in accordance with site requirements
* Assist with general labouring duties across the project site
* Support civil construction activities including pipe laying and/or road works
* Work collaboratively with supervisors and site crews to meet project deadlines
* Ensure all tasks are completed in line with safety and quality standards
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Follow site procedures, SWMS, and safety directions at all times
Essential Skills, Tickets And Experience
* Current Drivers Licence
* White Card
* Skid Steer and/or Excavator Ticket
* Excavator experience highly regarded
* Civil construction experience advantageous
* Pipe laying and/or road works experience desirable
* Ability to work long hours in a physical, outdoor environment
* Strong commitment to workplace safety
* Reliability and punctuality
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Willingness to assist across multiple tasks as required
