In our digital stream, we're looking for graduates with degrees in the following:
- bio informatics
- business analysis
- business informatics
- business modelling
- computer science
- cyber security
- design prototypes.
We're also looking for graduates with a degree in related areas such as:
- engineering or network engineering
- information and communication technology(ICT)
- machine learning
- mathematics
- programming
- project and program management
- sciences
- software engineering
- web design.
If you have any of the above degrees, you can apply to both our digital and generalist streams. If you’re assessed as suitable for both streams, we’ll try to match you to the digital stream first. Once you start, you will stay in the digital stream for the duration of the program.

Range of work
You might work on a range of projects and tasks such as:
- building innovative solutions to deliver easy-to-use digital government services that Australians trust
- implementing cyber security to keep our systems safe
- ensuring infrastructure and software is up-to-date and secure for one of the largest in-house ICT operations in the southern hemisphere
- developing, solving and supporting an ecosystem of digital platforms, systems and services with a wide range of applications and software.

- a competitive salary, ranging between $71,170 - $79,322 depending on your qualification level
- progression to the APS5 classification upon successful completion of the program

Eligibility
To be eligible for the program, you must be an Australian citizen.
You’ll need to have successfully passed and completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree within the last 5 years.
If you got your degree overseas, you’ll need to have it recognised by the Department of Education.
