Pacific National is seeking Qualified Locomotive Drivers and Advanced Trainee Driver Assistants to join our Wilmar Sugar team in Townsville and contribute to the safe, efficient delivery of freight across our operations. What You’ll Do Operate locomotives safely, efficiently, and in line with operational standards. Work in complex operational environments across bulk and intermodal services. Maintain strong situational awareness and adherence to safety protocols. Support Drivers with train preparation, driving tasks under supervision, and operational duties. Contribute to a high-performance, safety-driven team culture. What You’ll Bring Safety-first mindset. Ability to work rotating 24/7 shifts (including nights and weekends). Flexibility to work away from home when required. Proven experience in train operations Basic computer skills and strong communication.
