As an Emergency Response Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our workforce.
The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency response management and be able to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. They will also possess strong organizational skills and be able to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain site emergency management documentation to currency
* Facilitate/participate in risk assessments as subject matter expert to emergency planning & response
* Maintain operational readiness of identified safety/emergency response equipment and vehicles
* Plan & deliver ER training to operational workgroups in emergency management processes
* Plan, coordinate and/or execute external and internal training programs for ERT members
* Act as First Responder for Incident Management, including acting in an after-hours on-call capacity
* Maintain working relationships with mutual aid emergency services agencies and/or personnel
* Develop, implement and maintain Emergency work procedures and promote high health, safety and environmental awareness
* Plan and Execute Operational Emergency exercises
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III Mine Emergency Response and Rescue
* Certificate IV Health Care or equivalent
* Current unrestricted 'C' Class Western Australian Driver's License
* Certificate IV Work Health and Safety (desirable)
* Certificate IV Training and Assessment (desirable)
* HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing (desirable)
* Current 'HR' Class Western Australian Driver's Licence (desirable)
