Our firm offers both traditional accounting services and an array of supplementary services to provide a full suite to our clients. We are now looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of periodical and full-year tax accounting and statutory reporting.
Prepare income tax, BAS and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
Support clients and team members by providing advice on income tax, FBT and GST queries.
Contribute to ad hoc projects and business initiatives by identifying potential tax implications and providing guidance.
Provide effective risk management, compliance and reporting practices to meet statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess
5+ years accounting experience in a professional services environment.
Solid working knowledge of income tax and accounting.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Strong knowledge of MYOB, Xero and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Confident written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or undertaking studies towards qualifications.
CA/CPA or equivalent professional certification.

Salary will be based on the experience and capability of the successful candidate. This full-time role is office-based in Hallett Cove. Travel to Victor Harbor and Unley offices may be required.
