Job Title: Technical Claims Specialist

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the assessment and processing of service claims, goodwill requests, and dealer submissions.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of warranty standards, procedures, and dealer service/workshop operations.


Key Responsibilities:

* Review and adjudicate service claim authorisations, goodwill requests, and dealer-submitted claims, ensuring compliance with company requirements and Australian Consumer Law.
* Collaborate with regional offices, dealers, and internal teams to resolve claim-related enquiries and provide guidance on policy compliance.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining thorough documentation to support legal requirements.
* Conduct technical evaluation of claims, monitor factory recalls and technical bulletins, and assess the impact of technical support requests on warranty adjudications.
* Contribute to the enhancement of warranty systems and processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements.


Requirements:

* Demonstrated technical expertise with a minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience, including a strong understanding of warranty standards, procedures, and dealer service/workshop operations.
* Comprehensive product and technical knowledge, with the ability to assess and adjudicate warranty claims while ensuring compliance with ACL requirements and OEM obligations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and the ability to evaluate and challenge information to support informed decision-making.
* Proven organisational and time management abilities, with strong attention to detail and the capacity to adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with internal teams and external partners to support warranty processes and resolutions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ASA/CAPS (Parts) and SAP systems to support warranty administration and claims processing.
