About The Role
As a Lead Accountant with PPS Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate financial management, compliance and strategic planning.
Working closely with senior management, you will provide insights that support decision making and business growth.
This role is to cover maternity leave with the potential for longer term options due to the businesses expected growth period.
Key responsibilities
* Overseeing accounting processes
* Audits, tax filings and financial reporting
* Prepare, analyse and interpret financial statements
* Forecasting, developing budgets and budget reviews
* Monitor and manage cash flow
* Identifies and mitigates financial risk
* Oversee and support accounts payable and receivable
* Support project on financial matters
About You
* Must have experience in a similar lead role
* Happy to work with and support a small team
* CPA Preferred but not mandatory if you have enough experience in the field
* Construction industry experience preferred
* Good verbal and written communication
* Able to build and maintain positive working relationships
