Regional Clinical Director - Greencross Central/East/West
Greencross Vets is seeking an experienced veterinarian to step into the role of Regional Clinical Director. This fixed-term position offers flexibility to structure as a dual role (Regional Clinical Director part time plus Vet Director in one clinic) or full-time, with the possibility to transition to another role in the future depending on opportunities and mutual alignment. The role is based in Melbourne, Victoria, with travel between clinics as needed.
Overview
As Regional Clinical Director, you will influence clinical standards, mentor emerging leaders, and drive improvements across multiple clinics. You will be part of a national team of Regional Clinical Directors who, with the Chief Veterinary Officer, support the veterinary profession and its growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship across multiple clinics.
- Collaborate with in-clinic teams to assess needs, support development, and build strong relationships.
- Champion best practices and uphold high standards of veterinary care.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Partner with operational leaders to drive performance and client satisfaction.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of veterinary professionals.
- Stay ahead of advancements in veterinary medicine and integrate innovations into practice.
What You Bring
- A degree in Veterinary Medicine and registration to practice in Victoria.
- Memberships in an area of Small Animal Practice would be favourable.
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for mentoring and empowering others.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to excellence.
- Flexibility to travel between clinics and support other regions as needed.
Qualifications
- Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or equivalent examinations. See for more information.
