$92,733 per year + Super + Salary Packaging
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Early Supports team delivering community-based, family centred early intervention services to children (under 6 years old) and their families who do not have access to NDIS funding. This will be delivered using a primary service provider/key worker model in natural/community settings including family homes, kindergartens, early childhood centres, etc. You will work alongside a team of Early Childhood professionals, including Teachers, Speech Pathologist and Social Workers, supporting families who have identified developmental concerns for their child. As part of the team you will provide clinical support to our early childhood teams in the delivery of our Early Supports Program.
About you
You’ll have experience as a Paediatric Allied Health professional, developing developmental profiles for children using strengths-based approaches including observations, evidence based developmental screeners, and routine-based conversations. You will have experience developing goals in partnership with families for their child that support participation and inclusion across environments such as their home, early education settings and the community. You will be aware of ECIA best practice guidelines in Early Childhood Intervention and experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
What we offer
No billable hours. You’ll have flexibility within your work hours to meet the needs of children and their families, while balancing personal commitments; there is no expectation to work out of contract hours. We offer true work life balance through flexible work arrangements, blended working models and additional paid leave to study, volunteer, or for cultural reasons. We are committed to professional development and provide ongoing support, supervision and training to enable success in the role.
This is a full-time role (with the opportunity for part-time) based in the Loddon region with offices in Gisborne, Bendigo, Echuca and Maryborough until 30 June 2027. Remote opportunities may be available for exceptional candidates located in metro Melbourne.
