The program
The Bega Canteen is run by the Bega Red Cross branch, providing food and drinks to cattleman at the Stockyards every month.
The opportunity
This role would suit someone who enjoys customer service and is comfortable handling money. Responsibilities include preparing food, serving customers and counting takings. It would be suitable for someone who can make an ongoing monthly commitment.
The impact
As a Canteen Volunteer, you will provide a positive experience and a much needed service to the Gloucester community; whilst raising money for Australian Red Cross. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World's largest humanitarian network.
Application requirements
* For this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check, which will be organised through Red Cross.
