The Link Youth Health Service is a not-for-profit organisation providing free health and wellbeing services to young people aged 12–25 across Hobart and Southern Tasmania.
The Link deliveres youth-centred services including mental health support, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug services, sexual health, and the successful delivery of headspace Hobart model.
About the Role
The Access Team Clinician is often one of the first points of contact for young people engaging with headspace Hobart. This role involves engaging, screening, assessing, referring, coordinating care, and delivering brief interventions for young people aged 12–25 accessing the service.
The successful applicant will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team and contribute to creating a welcoming and positive experience for young people and their families.
About You
* Qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, or other relevant allied health discipline
* Eligibility for professional registration or membership with AHPRA or AASW
* Experience working with young people experiencing mental health, alcohol and other drug, or psychosocial challenges
* Experience delivering brief therapeutic interventions and care planning
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
