About the Role
Ventia manages the Western Roads Upgrade (WRU) network under a 20‐year Victorian Roads Construction and Maintenance contract, ensuring the network stays safe and reliable. Network Maintenance Manager will lead the operations team in the delivery of network maintenance and incident response services in accordance with contract specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the Maintenance Team to ensure delivery of works
* Manage the planned maintenance program (routine and periodic)
* Maintenance activities according to safety, quality, cost, profit, time, environmental specifications
* Managing performance to achieve DTP/Contractual expectations
* Managing performance to achieve resource, asset and cost optimisation
* Manage maintenance personnel, network inspectors, incident response teams and sub-contractors
* Monitoring and reviewing the Maintenance Management Plan
* Establish regular reports on technical, systems and productivity performances
* Track costing of Maintenance delivery to ensure productivities are meet.
* Review of cost forecasting for Maintenance delivery works
* Prepare and develop monthly reporting for submission
About You
To be successful in your application, you will have a technical background within this space with qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar accompanied with:
* 10+ years' experience in road maintenance and network management, including at least 5 years managing network maintenance teams
* Demonstrated ability to manage staff, maintenance works, order materials, test and monitor quality
* Demonstrated understanding of pavement types, standard surfacing, and asphalting practices
* Experience in VicRoads maintenance contracts (preferred)
* Demonstrated senior leadership experience in road maintenance / road networks.
* Demonstrated understanding of contractual KPI's and DTP Victoria's 750 PPP specification.
* Ability to develop key understanding of client requirements and contractual obligations and the ability to further demonstrate those understandings by way of site meetings, client interactions and feedback sessions
