ABOUT THE ROLE
Based in Wodonga and as a key member of the Medical Practice team, the Practice Coordinator supports the Business Manager in the day-to-day operations of the practice, while providing support and guidance to Medical Receptionists and Customer Service Officers. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth delivery of front-of-house services, optimising booking and billing processes, and maintaining high standards of customer service for patients and stakeholders.
The position is responsible for coordinating team workflows, supporting workforce planning and rostering, and contributing to the development and continuous improvement of systems and processes that enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability across the practice.
Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff, you will foster a positive team culture, model professional practice, and ensure services are delivered in line with organisational values and regulatory requirements.
ABOUT YOU
You are an organised and proactive coordinator with experience in medical administration or a similar front-of-house environment. You bring strong interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, clinicians, and patients.
With well-developed planning and time-management skills, you can confidently coordinate competing priorities, support team performance, and maintain efficient daily operations. You are comfortable working with a range of IT and clinical systems and have experience supporting rostering, workflows, and service improvements.
You lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to high-quality customer service. Importantly, you are motivated to contribute to a collaborative team environment and to continuously improve systems and processes that support excellent patient care.

Classification – Managers and Administrative Officer Grade 4 - $ superannuation
