As an Aboriginal Workforce Manager, you will play a crucial role in implementing the Aboriginal Employee Plan, which aims to increase Aboriginal employment, leadership, and retention in line with the strategic plan goals.
You will be responsible for managing the Aboriginal Workforce Team by providing leadership, coordination, training, and support as required. You will also implement the Aboriginal Employment Plan to achieve its objectives and build relationships with managers and senior leaders to promote Aboriginal employment, development, and retention.
In addition to your key responsibilities, you will contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and initiatives to promote Aboriginal employment, development, and retention. You will also report on the Aboriginal Employment Plan and provide ad-hoc reporting as required, ensuring that actions from the human resources business plan are completed within appropriate timeframes.
