About the Role:
You will help maintain classrooms, hallways, offices, student facilities, large student hall, toilets, and outdoor areas to the highest standard. Duties include general cleaning, waste disposal (including recycling), floor buffing/scrubbing (training provided), and reporting any damage or safety concerns.
Deep cleaning known as Clean Week, is required during the first week of each school holiday period.
Key Responsibilities
• Clean and sanitise classrooms, offices, stairwells, toilets, and external areas
• Empty bins and separate waste for recycling
• Operate cleaning equipment (e.g. buffing machines, blowers, vacuums)
• Report damage, vandalism, or maintenance needs
• Maintain safety and hygiene standards in line with Health, Safety & Welfare policies (including PPE use)
What You'll Need
• Reliability, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. Training will be provided
Hours & Conditions
• Permanent part-time and full-time roles available (nominate your preferred hours: 38, 30, or 15 hours per week)
• Split shifts during school term (with paid daily split shift allowance):
- AM shifts: 5:30 am-8:30 am or 9:30 am
- PM shifts: 2:00 pm, 2:30 pm or 3 pm-6:00 pm
• Clean Week shift are (straight shifts) during the first week of each term break, starting at 5:00 am
