Business Development Executive
We are seeking a skilled professional to drive business growth and expand our market presence.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to identify and secure new business opportunities across a diverse client base, including Local Government Authorities, schools, Not for Profits (NFPs), health, mining corporates, and SMEs.
This role requires exceptional communication skills, confidently engaging with clients at all organisational levels both in person and over the phone. Strong relationship-building capabilities, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to business development are essential alongside excellent organisational skills and a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* Drive business growth by proactively identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities while expanding service offerings to current clients.
* Serve as the primary account manager responding professionally to enquiries, nurturing existing clients, and acting as the main point of contact to ensure satisfaction.
* Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals, deliver accurate quotes, and tender responses that meet client needs and company standards.
* Keep the CRM updated, maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, and report sales data and forecasts to the Leadership Team.
* Drive year-on-year sales growth, meet targets, and implement strategies to increase customer value and attract new clients.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities, demonstrate financial awareness, and participate in internal process improvements.
