We are seeking two Senior Business Analyst to join Macquarie University, on a full-time, fixed term basis to 31st December 2026. We are looking for talented Senior Business Analysts, to be deeply involved in the technical aspects of project implementation, ensuring our technical solutions are aligned with and effectively address business needs. The Senior Business Analyst acts as a crucial link between the IT Health team and the hospital's clinical and administrative departments, ensuring that technology solutions effectively meet business needs and deliver positive outcomes. These roles require a combination of business acumen and technical expertise to bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead business analysis and improvement initiatives, solving complex problems and driving process optimisation. Engage stakeholders to define, analyse and document business requirements, using tools and techniques such as root cause analysis, process mapping, and modelling. Design and implement business and IT solutions, including change management, performance metrics, testing, and compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Collaborate across teams and projects to align strategies, share knowledge, and ensure integrated solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support project delivery and organisational objectives. Identify and manage project risks and issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Comply with relevant EEO and WHS regulations. CBAP, PMI-PBA, BCS Business Analysis Practitioner or equivalent certification. Extensive experience as a Business Analyst working on multiple business improvement initiatives simultaneously. Proven experience in investigating and analysing business requirements, identifying inefficiencies and gaps, and designing, mapping and documenting ‘to be’ business processes and procedures. Proven experience with analysis and project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, PMBOK. Effective stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills to understand business requirements and provide solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and facilitate effective conversations with staff and stakeholders.
