About the Role
The Project Controller plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of large and complex projects. They are responsible for the establishment and maintenance of project control systems, including cost, schedule, and risk management.
Responsibilities:
* Cost Management:
Develop and maintain project budgets to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Track project expenditures and identify variances to make informed decisions.
* Project Financials:
Manage workforce plans, updating them based on actuals and forecasting resource requirements.
Administer timesheets, reviewing for accuracy and inputting into SAP.
Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
Prepare and submit monthly accruals to ensure financial accuracy.
* Document Control:
Organize and maintain access to all project documents to ensure version control and distribution.
* Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular project status reports for management, analyzing performance data to provide insights and recommendations.
* Collaboration:
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather data and ensure project control accuracy.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or certification in a related field (desirable)
* Minimum 5 years project accounting/finance business partner experience
* Proven control account management experience, monitoring and controlling actual control account performance against budgets and forecasts
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Well-developed communication and time management skills
* Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, and Defence industry experience will be highly regarded
* AGSVA security clearance (minimum Baseline)
