Your new company
My client is seeking an experienced Policy Manager to join their project team on an initial 3-month contract, with potential extension to 6 months. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major transformation project, delivering high-quality, contemporary policies and procedures that will support their future direction.
Your new role
As Policy Manager, you will lead the drafting, development, and delivery of a portfolio of organisational policies and procedures. Working closely with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders, you will translate complex information into clear, accessible, and user-friendly documents. You will coordinate policy activities to ensure that drafting, consultation, and approval processes are completed within agreed timelines, while maintaining alignment with organisational frameworks and requirements. You will also undertake benchmarking and research to embed best practice and innovation in policy design and build strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure that policies are practical, relevant, and future-focused.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience at a senior level in organisational policy development
* Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex concepts clearly
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities
* Excellent organisational and project management skills to deliver outcomes on time
* Experience working in large, complex environments will be highly regarded
* Ability to commence immediately for the duration of the contract
