One of our Clients is seeking to engage Oracle Database Administrator at multiple location.

Job Description: This engagement focuses on modernizing the client's Oracle database infrastructure by migrating to Oracle Autonomous Database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The project will leverage Oracle Autonomous Database's self-managing, self-securing, and self-repairing capabilities, as well as new Oracle Database AI features to enable enhanced functionality for existing and future applications.
Essential Criteria: • Minimum 6+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration across complex enterprise environments.• Proven extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c/23c including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.• Demonstrated experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Autonomous Database (ADB) including architecture design and implementation.• Strong knowledge of Oracle database migration methodologies.• Expertise in database architecture design, including high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), backup and recovery strategies using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) and Oracle Data Guard.• Proven experience conducting database assessments, capacity planning, and migration readiness evaluations.• Strong SQL and PL/SQL scripting skills for database automation, troubleshooting, and optimization.• Experience with performance monitoring and tuning using Oracle Enterprise Manager, AWR reports, ASH, and SQL tuning tools.• Understanding of REST API implementation and integration within Oracle Database environments.• Familiarity with Oracle Database AI capabilities and modern database features.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders.• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation including architecture diagrams, migration plans, and operational procedures.
Desirable Criteria: • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) - Oracle Database Administrator or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications.• Knowledge of cloud migration frameworks and best practices.• Experience working within Australian Government departments or agencies.• Exposure to Oracle APEX application environments and their database requirements.
