Production Operator
Production Operators Wanted!
We are currently seeking motivated, hands‐on workers for our Northgate site. Join our team providing reinforcing steel mesh, bar and associated products to customers, and get involved in a variety of stores and production tasks to keep our busy operation running to capacity.
This full‐time role is ideal for someone who is seeking a rewarding career within the steel industry.
Regular day shifts that fit in with family life and other commitments. Some overtime required.
What you'll be doing
* Operating production machinery and equipment with precision and care
* Cut and bend reinforcing steel
* Bundle and load reinforcing steel onto trucks
* Weld reinforcing steel structures together (training provided)
* Supporting your team to meet targets and keep things running smoothly
What you'll bring
* Experience in a production workplace using machinery
* Experience in metal production or reinforcing steel is desirable but not essential
* A robust commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
* Physical fitness, reliability and a can‐do attitude
* Forklift licence and welding experience (an advantage)
