Role
You will manage a portfolio of clients and play a key role in delivering high-quality taxation compliance and business advisory services. This position offers robust client interaction, technical depth, and the opportunity to mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities
* Managing and growing a client portfolio
* Providing taxation compliance and advisory services
* Reviewing tax returns and financial statements
* Preparing returns and financials for companies, trusts, individuals and SMSFs
* Preparing BAS and IAS
* Advising on business structures, superannuation and strategic tax matters
* Supporting and mentoring junior staff
* Maintaining strong, professional client relationships
Qualifications
* Australian degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
* CPA or CA qualified (or near completion)
* Minimum 5 years experience in public practice
* Strong knowledge of the Australian tax system and statutory obligations
* Experience with Xero, BGL360 and the ATO Tax Agent Portal
* Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills
* Client-focused, proactive and commercially minded
