Experienced Hospital Pharmacist required for this Northern Territory hospital. You will join a team of allied health clinicians. Join my other locums The locums will start on 14th July for two months + possible extension.
The Pharmacy use Merlin Dispensing Software and will be based on one general medicine ward. The team comprises of a Pharmacy Manager, one Clinical Pharmacist and one Pharmacy Technician. The hours of work per day are 8am to 4:21pm, Monday – Friday.
You will deliver clinical services: Deliver medication advice and reviews on general medicine wards. A knowledge of renal and indigenous health highly regarded. There will be:
* Close involvement with general medicine team.
* Collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
* Advising on complex regimes and medication safety.
* Direct engagement with patients for counselling and education.
* Close collaboration with doctors, nurses, and allied health staff.
Travel and accommodation
* Return Travel: Reimbursement is available for return travel, capped at $1,200
* Accommodation: On-site or off-site accommodation may be available, though availability varies throughout the year. In some cases, only shared accommodation is offered – typically in a 2-3 bedroom unit or house – with other Allied Health/Nursing/Medical staff of the same gender. While we prioritise on-campus accommodation for locums without a vehicle, it is not guaranteed
* Vehicle Access: The Hospital maintains a pool of vehicles that staff can book for personal errands such as grocery shopping. These vehicles are bookable via our internal system and can be used up to 2-3 hours at a time, with a travel limit of 30km from town
There is also a P2 permanent role:
* Annual range of $90,204 - $107,544 + super
* Ongoing solo subsidised accommodation approx. $350-$400 per fortnight.
* Ongoing family house subsidised accommodation approx. $600 per fortnight
