Job Overview
This role is an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation in the water and waste management sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring current water quality, conducting lab-based testing, and liaising with stakeholders regarding any abnormalities.
Additionally, they will be responsible for the after-hours maintenance of the plant, including basic maintenance and fault finding, instrument calibration, and monitoring of all plant equipment.
This role requires a strong background in Electrical or Mechanical Trades, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience working in plants, preferably desalination plants, is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent attitude towards safety, and knowledge of OH&S procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor current water quality and conduct lab-based testing.
* Liaise with stakeholders regarding any abnormalities and keep track of workflow.
* Responsible for after-hours maintenance of the plant, including basic maintenance and fault finding.
* Instrument calibration and monitoring of all plant equipment, including preventative measures.
Requirements
A background in Electrical or Mechanical Trades is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will also possess experience working in plants, preferably desalination plants, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
A minimum of a Certificate III in Electrical or Instrumentation Trade is required for this position.
Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, are also necessary for success in this role.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a commitment to OH&S procedures and a strong understanding of safe work practices.
