Padbury Education & Child Care Centre – Padbury WA
Our community-owned, not-for-profit, early childhood education and care service is seeking an experienced, purpose-driven General Manager / Nominated Supervisor to lead our Centre with integrity, professionalism and a deep commitment to children, families and community.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a service where decisions are guided by community values rather than profit. Working closely with our volunteer Board, you will ensure the service remains sustainable, compliant and delivering exceptional quality education and care.
About the Role
As the General Manager / Nominated Supervisor, you are responsible for the overall leadership, management and compliance of the service. You will balance operational excellence with strong governance, financial stewardship and meaningful community engagement.
You will ensure that children's rights, safety and wellbeing are embedded in every aspect of service delivery and organisational decision-making.

Selection CriteriaQualifications
* ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification or working towards it
* Eligibility and willingness to be appointed as Nominated Supervisor.
* Current Working with Children Check.
* Approved First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
* Approved Child Protection training.
* Demonstrated suitable compliance history.
Experience
* Significant leadership experience within early childhood education.
* Demonstrated experience working with or reporting to a Board/Management Committee.
* Strong financial management and budgeting experience.
* Thorough knowledge of National Law, Regulations and NQS.
* Experience leading Assessment & Rating.
Capabilities
* Strong governance and stakeholder engagement skills.
* High-level written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to balance operational management with strategic thinking.
* Financial literacy and experience interpreting reports.
* Commitment to ethical leadership and community service values.
