Bar Team Supervisor
The role of Bar Team Supervisor involves leading and managing a team of staff to ensure the efficient operation of the bar. This includes supervising employees, conducting training sessions, and collaborating with other departments to achieve business objectives.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
* Supervising and supporting food and beverage staff to deliver high-quality service.
* Delivering on-the-job training and regular briefings to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement.
* Collaborating with the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to contribute ideas for new drinks and menus.
* Assisting in ordering, receiving, and managing bar inventory, as well as conducting regular stock takes.
* Ensuring all guests receive exceptional service and their needs are met promptly.
* Addressing and resolving guest complaints and concerns professionally.
* Managing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Requirements
A successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
* A valid and current RSA certificate.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
* The ability to create a positive first impression and adhere to 5-star grooming standards.
* The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
* Experience and understanding of beverage service.
