Role Details:
Join the Department for Child Protection (DCP) in Gawler as an Access Worker or Support Worker. In these meaningful roles, you will provide practical support that helps children and young people maintain safe, positive connections with their families and communities. You will assist with supervised access visits, transport, and day-to-day activities, while working alongside social workers to ensure each child's wellbeing remains at the centre of our work. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference within a supportive, community-focused DCP team in the northern metropolitan region.
In this role, you will
* Arrange and supervise family access visits to ensure safe and positive interactions.
* Transport children and young people safely to and from family visits and activities.
* Support social workers in delivering quality care and assistance to families.
* Maintain accurate records and provide reports to assist in case planning.
