Collaborate within a dedicated team in a unique Defence environment as a part-time Chef at HMAS Creswell (Nowra). This role is ideal for chefs who enjoy bulk cooking and take pride in quality, flavour, and presentation, supported by strong systems, training, and a positive team culture.
Position
* Full-time role with weekend shifts and additional function hours as required
* Prepare high-quality buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and events
* Maintain catering standards while ensuring OH&S, HACCP, and waste reduction practices
* Support kitchen operations including stock control, deliveries, and cold room monitoring
* Deliver consistent quality and service in a fast-paced, structured environment
Person
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Previous experience in commercial kitchens, restaurants, or function catering
* Sound knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and allergen management
* Passion for quality food with strong attention to detail and presentation
* Reliable, team-focused, and committed to delivering excellent outcomes
