About the role
As a Customer Sales and Service Specialist, you are passionate about providing exceptional service to Telstra's customers. You achieve this by delivering solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer and providing rapid responses to sales or service enquiries. You leverage your extensive knowledge of Telstra's products and services to deliver commercially effective solutions that enable the team to deliver on targets and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers by being inquisitive, actively listening, and communicating effectively to identify their needs and resolve concerns to create an effortless and brilliant customer experience
- Apply knowledge of Telstra products and services to create value for customers through personalized solutions
- Understand and comply with Telstra's sales practices, procedures, and legislative requirements to deliver best practice customer service
- Apply influence and negotiation skills to understand and address customer reservations
- Collaborate with others to gain support and agreement to deliver outcomes that balance stakeholder and Telstra's values
- Build and manage relationships with key customer targets to maximise opportunities and sell products and services that meet their needs
- Contribute to an inclusive working environment by demonstrating cultural awareness and adaptability across interactions with diverse team members and customers
- Demonstrate accountability by taking ownership of customer issues or orders to deliver Telstra products and services within designated timeframes
About you
- Able to easily build connections with a variety of recent and existing customers
- Able to quickly develop customized solutions for customers
- Driven to reach and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Hungry to learn and grow within the role
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains excellent customer service
- Experience in a high-performing over-the-phone role is a plus
- Ability to handle a high volume of work and balance competing priorities
- Telstra experience is a plus
