We are seeking an experienced Senior Level Fashion Production Manager (Chinese Speaking preferred) who is experienced with fashion production, Chinese factories and fabric vendors, strong in negotiation skills, and business strategy and process optimization focused for IMMEDIATE START. Main Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and support the high-volume manufacturing of end to end Lioness collections and product from fabric sourcing, sample development, bulk production and quality control, remedying with all internal and external teams on any problems which may arise.
2. Communicate with and manage existing and new factory and supplier relationships, with a focus on keeping strong, loyal and mutually beneficial relationships, and communicating to internal teams on factory changes.
3. Create new and update current internal and external processes for Production Team and factories to follow to cater for Lioness business and product needs, including training relevant team members and external stakeholders on these processes.
4. Achieve optimum target product margin on range by range pricing by strategizing, negotiating, working with factories on volume and repeat orders. Periodically reviewing pricing to ensure in line with competitors.
5. Work collaboratively with executive team on developing business strategy and plans. Reporting on strategy and plans with executive team.
6. Train, mentor, oversee and support a team of production coordinators, assistants, garment technicians and interns at Lioness. Be responsible for their output and responsibilities.

Other Responsibilities:

* Work closely with sales and design team to communicate on needs, problems and new processes. Full understanding of Lioness sales and design team needs to support all teams and business model.
* Work closely with Executive team and other team managers on timelines, schedules and range calendars, agile use of workflows and production methods to achieve high output.
* Be the main conductor of weekly Sales & Production meetings through effective structured communication, drive collaboration and effective results in these meetings.
* Oversee consistent Quality Control of Lioness inventory with our inhouse Garment Tech to ensure consistent Lioness product is maintained throughout all business capacity shifts.
* Support smooth and cost effective shipping of all Lioness product communicating with Logistics team and external teams such as shipping agents and factories.
* Design and oversee production methods and production schedules for Lioness shipments and communicating to internal teams.
* Effective communication with factories weekly on WeChat, phone and email.
* Potential to travel overseas to China yearly to visit factories, source new partners and also source materials.
* Design & deliver detailed analysis and reporting on production schedules, capacities, timelines and volume to team.

You will possess:

* Professional level proficiency in Chinese Mandarin required to effectively communicate with Chinese factories and suppliers.
* Previous fast fashion or quick lead time, high volume fashion experience – 5 years minimum.
* Previous people management experience - 3 years minimum.
* Strong relationship management skills and interpersonal communication skills to prioritise team culture
* Well developed knowledge of Chinese fabric market, Chinese fast fashion factories, garment manufacturing, construction, specification and sample development.
* Innovative thinking and innovative problem solving skills
* Ability to maintain accuracy and precison during high pressure and deadline driven environments
* Ability to stay calm in fast paced, agile and growth business.
* Strong local and international strategic market experience
* Ability to mentor, coach and train others
* Availability to occasionally check Wechat in emergencies with partners in different timezones
* Organised and strategic business and sales approach in designing schedules and timelines for sales team.
