About the Role:
In this role, you will drive and execute the strategic sales plans of Bunnings whilst achieving growth and hitting sales targets by leading the sales team to ongoing success. Inspired by representing the Bunnings brand you will develop expertise in our large range of products and services by increasing / optimising the team's sales to our Commercial customers, along with actively seeking and acquiring new business opportunities. Working collaboratively with our other members of the Bunnings team, you will ensure that our commercial customers are provided with the very best Price, Range and Experience. You will also develop an expertise in our products and services being promoted to market and optimise sales to our Commercial customers, ensuring they receive the most appropriate, value-added solutions to suit their business needs.
What you can expect to do:
- Proven ability to leading high performing sales teams
- Existing relationships with Commercial & Project Builders helpful but not essential
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve or exceed budgeted sales, maximise profit and strengthen sales across the whole of build (share of wallet/product mix)
- Drive sales though the Bunnings network consisting of Stores, Trade Centres, Supply & Install offers as well as Frame & Truss plants
- Build strong partnerships with clients to grow our market share and identify opportunities for new business
- Develop and execute strategies to address local opportunities and combat competitor activities
- Develop, implement and manage a budget that is aligned to company expectations
- Work collaboratively with our other members of the Bunnings network, including suppliers, to ensure our Commercial customers are provided with the very best Price, Range & Experience
- Work on large, complex projects
- Rationalise supply chain solutions for customers
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety
What we need from you:
- Strong knowledge of building industry and related experience
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with Commercial & Project Builders
- Proven success in leading sales teams
- Coaching & influencing skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strong customer focus and ability to build rapport
- Tenacious, positive attitude and results driven
- Willingness to learn
- Knowledge of P & L & strategic planning
- Demonstrate integrity, respect and teamwork in everything you
- Strong IT Literacy Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
