Key Account Manager

We are seeking a results-driven National Key Account Manager to join our team and help shape the future of our brand.

Job Description:
\
As a customer-focused business, we see our sales team as the driving force behind our success. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts in the wholesale market, NZ market, multi-site operators (MSOs), and independent pet specialty stores (IPS). They will also be involved in new business development to expand our market presence.
\
Required Skills and Qualifications:
\
* Proven track record of delivering multi-year growth ahead of category and to deliver new business through existing and new customers.
\
* Proven ability to manage wholesalers, delivering growth through structured JBP's.
\
* 10+ years in commercial roles in FMCG industry, including 3+ years of experience as an Account Manager or Business Development Manager within the pet industry is a requirement.
\
* Demonstrated strong understanding of the 4C's of sales and the 4 P's of marketing and how to leverage them to drive growth at retail level.
\
* Established relationships and fieldwork experience with key players, retailers, and customers in the pet industry.
