Overview
MacKillop Catholic College, Johnston, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HPE Teacher & Outdoor Education Teacher for a Term 4 2025 contract.
This role engages students in hands-on learning experiences, fostering a love for the natural environment, and promoting physical, emotional, and social growth.
As a teacher in the MacKillop Health and Physical Education department you will impart valuable skills and knowledge to students from Year 7 to Year 12, enabling them to lead healthy lifestyles and preparing them for possible sporting or health industry careers.
You will have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities if they interest you, including swimming, athletics and cross country carnivals, lunchtime sports programmes, our Territory-leading rugby programme or any after school sport you wish to get involved in.
Full-time or 0.8 FTE, position for Term 4, 2025.

CRITERIA FOR APPOINTMENT
- Commitment to the Mission, Vision and ethos of a Catholic School;
- A willingness to work in a developing College in a fast-growing area of Australia;
- Has a proven ability to work as part of a cooperative team;
- Has an excellent teaching record;
- Qualifications in Teaching Health & Physical Education;
- Highly developed organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills; and,
- Holds or is able to gain registration from the NT Teachers Registration Board and an Ochre Card (working with Children).
