Senior Clinician Job Description
The senior clinician plays a vital role in providing expert assessment, therapy, and care coordination for individuals navigating mental health challenges within the community.
We are committed to promoting recovery and resilience through our multidisciplinary teams, working collaboratively with children, parents, carers, and school staff to prevent mental illness and behavioural disorders in later life, while improving educational outcomes.
* Provide targeted and universal intervention to children, parents, carers, and school staff involved in programs, including development of behavioural/social skills groups and delivery of parenting programs.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate programs, including clinical groups, to ensure effective support and treatment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications and current registration with professional bodies such as AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers for Social Workers.
* Experience in family systems-based intervention and working with children and families with complex mental health needs is highly desirable.
* Able to provide clinical guidance and training to multidisciplinary teams and students, supporting their growth and development.
