Board Approved Supervisors play a crucial role in providing primary and secondary Board-approved supervision, tailored training, and professional development for provisional psychologists pursuing a career in the disability sector

Providing primary and secondary (group) supervision to provisional psychologists undertaking the 5+1 interns
* hipDeveloping and delivering training workshops and professional development activities to the provisional psychologists enrolled in the Provisional Psychology Acad
* emyContributing to the development of processes and procedures related to strong clinical governan
ce.

Current registration with the Psychology Board of A
* ustraliaAt least 5 years’ experience as a psychologist since completing a psychology internship or post-Masters
* degree.Relevant clinical experience providing psychological services to children, adolescents, and families of people with developmental and psychosocial disabilities including
* autism.Demonstrated experience providing supervision to clinical staff and postgraduate students, including provisional psychologists undertaking either the 4+2 or 5+1 in
* ternshipA commitment to educating and developing future generations of psycho
* logists.A passion for developing a workforce skilled in providing high-quality and evidence based psychological services to people with developmental and psychosocial disabilities and their f
* amilies.A commitment to strive for excellence to maintain high standards of psychologic
