Role Summary
The Senior Business Analyst – MES leads and supports business analysis activities to ensure alignment with organisational goals and technical standards. Working closely with the Principal Business Analyst and key stakeholders, the Senior Business Analyst ensures that analysis efforts contribute meaningfully to strategic objectives and successful solution delivery.
Responsibilities
Evaluate proposed solutions through cost-benefit analysis and stakeholder input to ensure strategic alignment and resource viability.
Capture, validate, and manage business requirements to guide solution development and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Plan and oversee testing to confirm solutions meet business needs, identifying defects and ensuring user satisfaction.
Design and validate data models to support scalable, efficient solutions and maintain data integrity.
Lead initiatives to streamline operations using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, ensuring measurable performance gains.
Promote best practices in business analysis by selecting, training on, and updating methodologies and tools for consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience.
Experience in business process modelling.
Test planning, coordination and execution.
Workshop facilitation (e.g., stand-ups, requirements/work-process workshops).
Agile Scrum methodologies / IT software project lifecycle.
Exposure to manufacturing operations (via projects or direct involvement).
Preferred: Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Background in healthcare, medical, life sciences, or regulated environments.
Experience in system integration (SI) partners and transformation programs.
