A Day in the Life of a Part Time Kitchen Hand
1. Clean and clear tables to ensure a clean café environment.
2. Clear, wash and pack away dishes and kitchen equipment.
3. Ensure all Food Safety requirements are followed.
4. Assist in food preparation for front of house.
5. Rotate stock utilising use by dates and stock rotation (FIFO).
6. Accept deliveries and organise stock areas in the back room.
7. Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
About You
* Previous experience in a Kitchen Hand or similar Back of House position is essential.
* Availability to work evening shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
* Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
* Energetic, positive and guest focused individual with a can-do attitude.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently.
* Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.
* Able to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
