WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for an experienced support worker who would prioritise participants' engagement and well-being while supporting them within the community and in their own homes.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* Confident in delivering supports to high physical need participants
* Experience in Manual Handling
* Experience with complex Bowel Care
* Good Availability
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 year of experience working as a support worker or as an AIN
* Hold a Certificate III in health services Assistants in Nursing in Acute Care or equivalent at a minimum.
* Compassionate, caring attitude and proven ability to provide direct care services with minimal supervision .
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills – able to complete, read and understand standard documentation.
* WWVP
* Police Clearance
* NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain one
* Persons with lived experiences are highly recommended to apply.
* Has full work rights in Australia
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $34.00 – $40.00 per hour
