Salary Position
Annual Salary $76,600
Responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operation of Kangaroo Rugby League Club Kitchen. Responsible for supervision of all kitchen staff, food safety, hygiene and kitchen food and labour cost targets.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
* Menu costing and wastage recording.
* Kitchen rostering, hiring and staff supervision.
* Stock control, stock rotation, accurately ordering from approved suppliers while maintaining par stock levels, receiving & checking deliveries accurately, processing invoices to MYOB.
* Ensure all food licencing and food safety standards are met.
* A commitment to achieving sales targets, food cost 30% and labour cost targets of 30%, without compromising quality or standards.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, develop, support, and mentor the team.
* Produce quality meals with excellent presentation and attention to detail.
* Constructing weekly specials with new or existing culinary creations.
* Communicate in a positive way with all floor staff and customers.
* Fine tune and document kitchen processes.

Qualifications and Requirements
* At least three years of relevant experience
* A Diploma of Hospitality Management is advantageous
* Food safety certificate.
* Computer literacy.
* Ability to manage one's own time and the time of others.
* Ability to motivate, develop and direct people as they work and identify best people for the job.
* Ability to monitor or assess the performance of yourself, other individuals, or organisation to make improvements or take corrective action.
