About the Role
As a Quality Manager, you will own critical quality and process improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with quality systems and driving continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
* Product quality monitoring – oversee and enhance quality at every stage of manufacturing.
* Recipe management – maintain and update product formulations via the Request for Change process.
* Process improvement projects – lead initiatives to boost process capabilities, reduce costs and elevate product quality using Statistical Process Control techniques.
* Project management – plan and execute projects aligned with productivity, maintenance and quality goals.
* Capital expenditure – develop and present capex justifications to senior management.
* Communication – keep production teams, peers and senior leaders informed with clear and effective updates.
* Quality system compliance – serve as the site's QMS coordinator, ensuring adherence to QA systems, environmental policies and safety regulations.
* Training coordination – design and implement training programs to upskill factory staff.
* Decision‐making authority – approve or reject products based on quality standards, escalating critical decisions as needed.
Qualifications
* Prior experience with quality systems operations.
* Proven expertise in quality management, process improvement and project management.
* Knowledge of SPC techniques and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
* Full and unrestricted Australian working rights – visa sponsorship not offered.
* Valid police check.
* Tertiary qualification in an engineering or science discipline.
* Successful completion of pre‐employment medical.

Location
Work onsite from the Pinkenba site full time. Remote or work‐from‐home is not supported for this role.
