About the Role
Are you passionate about delivering great customer experiences, fostering team culture, and supporting the daily operations of a thriving regional service station? We're looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help our bp Blackall team - contributing to strong store standards, a fresh food and coffee offer, and a welcoming customer experience.
What You'll Do
* Create memorable customer experiences across the shop and forecourt, championing a culture of fresh food, great coffee and genuine service
* Work closely with the Site Manager to help the team maintain consistent quality and a well-presented store environment
* Drive store performance by supporting daily operations, stock management, safety compliance and the delivery of a clean, welcoming site
* Support the Site Manager with coaching, training and developing team members
* Maintain merchandising standards, product availability, and operating procedures
* Assist with labour management, cost controls, waste reduction and commercial optimisation
* Step confidently into leadership coverage during the Manager's planned and unplanned leave
What We're looking for
* Proven experience in food retail, convenience, grocery, or multi-site management
* A genuine passion for food, coffee, and customer service
* Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate team
* Commercial acumen and a results-driven approach
* Ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and on-call support
